About us

Welcome to Rosso Ducati

Our shop was opened in 2007 by Jeff Murphy & his father Brian Murphy. In 2008 we moved from our first temporary premises on the Naas Road beside the RedCow Hotel, to our permanent location on the corner of Robinhood Road and Turnpike Road, Ballymount, Dublin 22 (just off the Naas Road, behind the Red Cow Hotel).

We then took over Ducati in Ireland in 2012 and now have Rosso Ducati, nd two other motorcycle brands all on the same site in three distinctly separate showrooms.

At Rosso Ducati we pride ourselves on our friendly & relaxed atmosphere for all our visitors, riders and non riders. Many of our staff were customers here prior to beginning work here. You’ll find them friendly & enthusiastic. Our rider lounge is upstairs with high stools & tables along with relaxed chairs & coffee tables, with free wi-fi and bike related viewing on our big screen. Drop by when you’re next out on your bike, or call us if there’s anything we can do for you.

Hi I'm Jeff Murphy, Our business was born in 2007 out of my love of motorcycles. My dad rode as did my Grandad (who never owned a car) so, you could say it's in my blood. I was brought up in the car trade; my last job in cars being general sales manager of Belgard Motors in Tallaght until ’05, four years before it sadly closed its doors. During my career, I've been lucky to have driven everything from luxury saloons to high end sports cars but I always came back to bikes. I’m extremely lucky that I now get to play with all the toys and I chop and change between Triumph, Ducati and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. I’m proud that we have a great shop, a great bunch of people staffing it and that anyone who’s into bikes, or indeed those thinking of getting into them, are very welcome here, even just for a coffee & a chat when passing. Hi I’m Trish and I look after our clothing and gifts department. We supply Ducati motorcycle & casual clothing along with the REV'IT & Belstaff ranges of motorcycle clothing, helmet brand Bell. Contact me should you need advice on protective wear or would like to schedule a visit for a fitting or with other any questions you may have. I can take orders for delivery for post, over the phone or online & can send out gift vouchers on request – or see you here in the store!

Hi There, Aybike here! I'm in charge on all marketing activities and I'm helping to clothing and motorcycle sales too. I've been ridden motorcycle for 8 years. Hi I’m Kenny and I am head technician here. I joined the company at its very beginning in 2007. I am one of those guys who likes everything to be perfect and I do not like to do anything half. I have a great team of technicians who have worked for many years in motorcycle shops and in race teams. We are all factory trained with constant updating and renewal. Our workshop has the complete set of special tools & diagnostic equipment to work on our brands. Your safety is in our hands and we take that very seriously.

Hi I’m Elysabeth and you’ll find me here at the service counter. I love animals and keep a “business” of ferrets. This has been fantastic training to keep a business of busy motorcycle technicians! Our guys are all highly skilled with constantly updated factory training. They have backgrounds in military mechanics, motorcycle retail maintenance and professional race bike maintenance. I you have any motorcycle maintenance or repair needs, please contact me – I can also help in six languages!
