Born in the desert and raised off-road, the DesertX Rally is ready to accompany you on your most extreme adventures with its top-notch professional off-roading equipment.

The new long travel suspension and Takasago Excel wheels with tubeless solution ensure greater control on the most challenging offroad paths. The professional components of DesertX Rally, developed to ensure maximum off-road riding pleasure and performance, offer the necessary support when tackling tough obstacles.

DesertX Rally is equipped with the 890 cc Ducati V2 twin, capable of delivering 110 hp with a weight of just 54.4 kg. Thanks to the Intake Variable Timing (IVT) system, the engine guarantees a prompt throttle response and smooth, progressive delivery right from low revs. With 70% of the torque already available at 3000 rpm, it promises control and responsiveness, even on the most demanding off-road terrain.
DesertX Rally mounts the Termignoni titanium silencer as standard, an element that adds to the bike’s sporty character and strengthens its racing identity, for a striking, dynamic look.

The 48 mm closed-cartridge Kayaba fork offers 250 mm of travel and is adjustable for compression and rebound on both fork legs. The Kashima Coating and DLC treatments help reduce friction and improve component durability. At the rear, the long-travel Kayaba shock absorber, with Full Floater system and 240 mm of travel, is adjustable for rebound, remote preload and high- and low-speed compression.
The Öhlins adjustable steering damper helps improve the stability of the DesertX Rally on even the roughest off-road terrain. The rider can adjust the response according to personal preference and the riding conditions.
The Takasago Excel wheels highlight the off-road character of DesertX Rally, combining strength and lightness with the practicality of tubeless technology. The 21" front wheel and 18" rear wheel are designed to take on the toughest off-road terrain, with internally positioned spokes for better protection against impacts and scratches.
The body panels of the DesertX Rally are not painted but made from coloured-through material, making them more durable and less prone to scratching.
The DesertX Rally’s 18-litre plastic tank comes complete with integrated impact protection for greater resistance in the case of a crash, while the narrow profile facilitates a rider’s movement in the seat. The easily accessible air filter simplifies servicing, while the 4 mm aluminium skid plate provides an additional mounting point to better distribute impact load.
The DesertX Rally’s racing seat is produced as a single piece and combines sports design with functionality, offering the rider greater longitudinal freedom of movement and making it easier to transition between seated and standing positions when riding off-road.

DesertX Rally offers advanced electronics equipment, designed to ensure control and versatility both on and off road. The package includes rider assistance systems with settings tailored to different levels of experience, Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, and a 5" TFT colour display with three viewing modes. Two practical USB ports, type A and type C, round out the equipment.

Ducati DesertX Rally stands out for its technical solutions designed specifically for off-road riding. The high front mudguard, as standard, helps prevent the buildup of mud and debris over tough terrain, accentuating the bike’s gutsy character. The one-piece rally seat highlights its sports spirit, ensuring greater freedom of movement. A reinforced aluminium engine guard and titanium Termignoni exhaust complete the equipment.
